Write a short note on Data, Information and Knowledge

Data refers to raw facts and figures that have not been processed or organized in a meaningful way. It is the basic building block of information and knowledge.

Information is data that has been processed and organized in a way that is meaningful and useful to the receiver. It is the result of data being transformed into a form that can be understood and used to make decisions.

Knowledge is information that has been acquired through experience, education, or training and has been processed, organized and understood in a way that allows it to be applied to specific problems or situations. It is the ability to use information and data to make decisions, solve problems, and create new ideas. Knowledge is built on top of information and is more comprehensive and can be used to make informed decisions, whereas information is just to make one informed.

In summary, data is the raw material, information is the processed and organized form of data, and knowledge is the understanding and application of information.
